Drawn to Canada
In this illustration and writing project, I explore Canadian identity through the symbols, stories, and cultural references that Canadians recognize and share. Each hand-drawn image is paired with a short essay examining what makes a subject feel distinctly Canadian and what it reveals about how we understand ourselves.
What began as a 100-days project for my Masters degree in Branding at the School of Visual Arts has grown into a continuing exploration of Canada as a living mosaic, layered, evolving, and full of competing stories.
